The Begining...

I wanna take it back to the beginning of what has become the best thing in my life.  So it all started back in July of 2004... I met Teki randomly at his cousins house one night and the whole night all he kept saying to me was 'Hi, I'm Teki.'  He made  me laugh and I did think he was cute but never really expected to see him again.  He apparently saw me the next week at the Samoan Flag week rugby tournament, and was so shy he didn't even bother to say hi and tried to stay hidden from me.  But as fate would have it we were destined to meet again, as luck would have it, my sister Jenn's boyfriend at the time, Marky, was going to school at SUU and who was he going to live with? Yup, Teki.  And he and Jenn really pushed for us to start talking.  So one weekend my friend Ashlii, Jenn and I were going to St. George for a girls weekend when we decided to stop in Cedar to visit.  I remember sitting at the kitchen table with Ashlii and Teki playing domino's and it was kind of awkward but I was glad to have Ash there to kind of break the ice.  He introduced himself and she thought he said his name was Duckie... and the nickname kind of stuck from there.  But he and Marky ended up coming down to St. George that weekend and we all hung out... that was the night we first kissed.  He likes to think it was because of his super smooth pickup line but it was because I thought he was sweet and really cute... why wouldn't I kiss him!  We ended up talking a lot on the phone and hanging out some more I really started to like him the more I got to know him.  And one weekend Jenn and I took a trip to Cedar to visit and that was the weekend I knew that I loved this guy and I wanted to be with him forever.   Fast forward 6 years and here we are!  So in love and so happy! The rest of our story is kind of bumpy... it has its ups and downs but that all doesn't matter because that has brought us to where we are right now and has only made us stronger and happier than ever!
